Description: Review of current scientific literature regarding HIV infection and pathobiology with emphasis on immunological aspects of infection and diseases associated with AIDS. Includes mode of transmission, prevalence, pathobiology, and treatment of other sexually transmitted diseases. Prerequisite: BIOL 2050 or permission.
