Description: This course explores the U.S. environmental policy process and relevant actors, government institutions, laws, issue areas, and values. It examines environmental discourses, policy formation, and implementation by state and federal agencies. The policy process is brought to life using current case studies ranging from national parks and fracking to climate change and urban growth.
