PHIL 4180 - Topics in the Philosophy of Law

Description: On demand. In-depth examination of such topics as the nature and analysis of law, legal reasoning, judicial decision, hard cases, responsibility, causation and fault, the mental element in crime, formal and material principles of justice and the legal enforcement of morality. Prerequisite: six hours in PHIL or consent of instructor. May be repeated with different topics.
