PHIL 3310 - Existentialism Credits: 3
Description: Alternate years. Various existential themes, including the meaning of life, human freedom, the limits of reason, the meaning of death and the individual vs. society. Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Dostoevsky, Camus, Sartre, Jaspers, Buber and others comprise the reading. Prerequisite: three hours in PHIL or consent of instructor.
