NURS 2455 - Introduction to Critical Care Nursing Skills
Credits: 2
Description: This elective course builds upon previously learned knowledge while building technical skills using critical thinking principles for the care of the high acuity adult patient. Participants will demonstrate an increased understanding and ability using the necessary technical skills related to high-risk patients, assessment and interventions of the acutely ill patient through the use of classroom theory, case scenarios, and hands on simulation. Prerequisites: NURS 3455 .
