NURS 1015 - Introduction to Nursing Credits: 2
Description: This course introduces the student to essential academic skills, the interpersonal and critical thinking skills required for success in nursing school, and the role of professional nurse. Scholastic expectations required to complete the BSN-Pre-licensure program are introduced, as well as the investigation of the roles, functions, and professional expectations of the registered nurse at various levels; personal assessment of why the student is choosing nursing as a career and the student’s learning style and study habits; and writing scholarly papers.
