MUED 2455 - Music for Exceptional Learners

Description: Spring. Course examines the characteristics and abilities of students with special needs and the effect upon musical learning. Content will include current legal, educational, social, and philosophical perspectives in working with this population. Music education students will identify instructional strategies and the field-specific knowledge necessary for development of effective musical learning experiences. Prerequisites: Sophomore standing.
