Description: Spring alternate years. Development of skills in recognition, dictation and singing of harmonic and melodic material characteristic of the jazz idiom. Familiarity with jazz nomenclature recommended. Open to nonmajors, minors and music majors. Prerequisite: MUCT 2410 or permission of instructor.
