Description: Study of clinically important human viruses, emphasizing structure, classification and pathogenicity. Methods of isolation, identification, prevention and vaccination will also be discussed. Prerequisite: BIOL 3140, BIOL 3150, BIOL 3500 or permission of instructor. Approved for distance education.
