Description: Fall. Basic principles of scripting teleplays (television) and screenplays (film). Covers the essential elements, from developing an initial story idea and creating believable characters, to writing a complete script and pitching the idea to a knowledgeable audience. Prerequisite: MDIA 2600, nonmajors with permission of department.
