MATH 2130 - Mathematics for Early Childhood Teachers Credits: 3
Description: An in-depth study of number and operations, algebraic thinking, geometry, and measurement. Problem solving with rational numbers, ratios, proportions, percents, algebra, and coordinate geometry. Emphasis will be placed on using multiple representations in mathematics, developing understanding of mathematical structures, and fostering mathematical communication skills needed for teaching. Open only to education majors and pre-majors. Prerequisite: a grade of C or better in EDTL 1320 .
