Description: Online. Students learn how to use library resources, including online subscription databases, library catalogs, and freely available information sources on the Internet. Through hands-on activities and practical exercises, students learn techniques for how to locate, evaluate, and organize information for use in research assignments and how to correctly format source citations. Emphasis is on understanding the social value and role of quality information in the digital age. Course material provided. Course may be repeated up to three times.
