FN 4340 - Medical Nutrition Therapy I

Description: Fall. Nutritional therapies for specific medical conditions. Physiological and biochemical basis for nutrition intervention in disease. Pathophysiology of major disease states and impact on nutritional status and normal metabolism. Assessment of nutritional status, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of appropriate nutrition therapy. Credit cannot be earned for both FN 4340 and FN 5340. Prerequisites: BIOL 3320 and FN 4110 ; CHEM 3080 or FN 4320 or FN 4200 . Approved for distance education.
