FIN 4450 - Financial Institutions and Risk Management

Description: Understanding of management of financial institutions through the measurement and management of risk. Topics covered are the nature of financial institutions and their regulation, market risk, credit risk, operational risk, liquidity risk, and the lessons from the recent credit crisis. Credit cannot be earned for both MBA 5540 and FIN 4450. Prerequisite: grade of C or better in FIN 3000 . Approved for distance education.
