EDTL 3220 - Literacy Across the Early Childhood Curriculum

Description: Fall. This course examines developing oral and written language abilities in young children through age-appropriate, integrated curriculum. Approaches, teaching strategies, and resources for language learning through reading, writing, speaking, listening, viewing and visual representation are covered. Must be taken as part of ECE Field Block II. Transportation required. Prerequisite: Letter grades of C or better in all Field Block I courses (HDFS 3200 , HDFS 4200 , EDIS 4290, EDTL 3100 , and EDTL 3110 ). Extra fee.
