CST 1430 - Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation


Credits: 3

Description: Examination of architectures and considerations related to designing, securing, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise networks. Covers wide area network (WAN) technologies and quality of service (QOS) mechanisms. It also introduces software-defined networking, virtualization, and automation concepts that support the digitalization of networks. This course is the third course leading to Cisco CCNA certification. Two hours lecture and two hours lab per week. Prerequisite: CST 1420  or permission of instructor.
