BIOL 4290 - Evolutionary Ecology

Description: This course focuses on major factors driving the evolution of ecologically important characteristics of organisms. Special emphasis is placed on examples related to evolutionary conservation ecology, such as evolution of invasive species, resistance to antibiotics and pesticides, and evolutionary responses to global climatic changes. Students will also gain practical knowledge on how to design experiments and analyze data in the fields of Ecology and Evolution. Three one-hour lectures.
