Description: Survey of the art and cultures of the peoples of MesoAmerica, with a primary focus on ancient Mexico. Pottery and ceramic sculpture, monumental stone carving, precious and semi-precious stone carving, and architecture considered in its social, religious, political, and cultural contexts.

Prerequisite(s): one of ARTH 1450, ARTH 1460, or ARTH 2700, or consent of instructor.
