ARTH 4650 - Critical Issues in Art and Technologies Credits: 3
Description: Seminar on critical issues, problems, and debates in the arts and technologies as related to photography, film, video, and/or digital new media in primarily Western geographical contexts. Each semester will focus upon varied thematic, historical, or theoretical topics such as issues of production and reproduction, race and gender, particular media or performance, the introduction of new processes, major technological changes, and/or major works, artists, theorists, critics, or movements. Repeatable once when topics vary.
Prerequisite(s): any ARTH 3###-level course, or consent of instructor. When Offered: Fall.
