Description: An introduction to the science of global climate change emphasizing research in Earth’s cold regions. Topics include past and future changes in the atmosphere, ocean circulation and sea-level change, the role of ice in the climate system, ice ages, and glaciers and other archives of past climate. Three lectures and one two-hour laboratory.
