EDTL 4181 - Practicum in Secondary School Settings

Description: Fall. Seminars and field experiences for AYA majors designed to further develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for successful teaching. Focal areas: professionalism, effective teaching practices, classroom management, and professional development. Students attend campus classes, as well as full-day field site visits early in semester. Intensive daily field experience, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, during last third of semester. Prerequisites: Admission to the AYA methods block; requires FBI & BCI background checks valid for full year. S/U only. Transportation required.
