ECON 4420 - Markets and the Law

Description: The law is one form of conflict resolution. Markets are another; democracy is a third. This course focuses on how these conflict resolution systems interact. The underlying logic of each will be discussed along with applications. Assessment of the strengths and weaknesses as the systems are applied will be part of the course. Prerequisites: ECON 2020  and 2030, LEGS 3010  or consent of the instructor.
