Active learning at Bowling Green State University takes place in our small-group residential learning communities, where students with similar interests and goals live and study together. In academic-based communities, students work closely with outstanding faculty members who teach classes and many have offices right in the residence hall. With study partners next door and knowledgeable faculty and staff easy to access, students’ academic success gets a jump start that can take them in many directions-research, study abroad, leadership seminars, volunteering in urban schools, or career exploration.
BGSU residential learning communities include the following: Arts Village, Chapman Community at Kohl, Global Village, Natural and Health Sciences Residential Community (NHSRC), Honors Learning Community, La Comunidad, La Maison Française, Partners in Context and Community (PCC), and SEARCH.
