322 North Conklin, 419-372-2451

The Washington Center Internship program offers internships in Washington, D.C., for students of all majors. Participating students work full time in their chosen fields in placements chosen to match individual interests and skills. While gaining valuable work experience in their career area, students can register for 1-15 hours of BGSU credit, per agreement with their academic department.

The program includes placement, orientation, evaluation, counseling, small group discussions, a lecture series, special events, and support services. Scholarships are offered, and housing is available if desired.

Information on the various opportunities is available in the Career Center’s Cooperative Education and Internship Program office. Interested students with a minimum 2.75 GPA are urged to contact the coordinator at least six months prior to the term in which they would like to intern.
